This tree is one of the 100 year old ficus trees that are accompanied by an impressive selection of other species that make up the central 'garden' of the Plaza de Mina in Cádiz. The plaza and its trees sit on the site of the old garden of the Convent of Saint Francis in one of the most beautiful, emblematic squares in the city, dating back to the 19th century. A plaza surrounded by impressive 18th and 19th century architecture, including the city's museum.
