contemporary art exploring the human relationship with nature and the nature of being human
Life drawing

Drawing the human figure is an essential part of my studio practice. Working primarily with pastels and coloured pencils, I use these sessions to explore shape, form, and gesture. These are simple, intuitive sketches made without a predetermined outcome; by letting go of expectation, the drawings often reveal an unexpected emotional tone and subtle atmosphere.

These pieces are about stillness, breath, and the quiet energy that emerges through line and form. (available as giclée prints - click on images for options)
