Tree Story

This beautiful old gnarly apple tree is thought to be one of the last surviving trees in an area that was once orchard, before houses were built on the land around 1910. Some of its branches are being held up by props, and cavities are beginning to appear where other branches have fallen. It has watched families grow, and come and go, in the garden where it resides, and despite its age, it is still producing an abundance of fruit every autumn.
